Expat Holiday Exchange #expatexchange14

Expat blogger Diane from Oui in France had the wonderful idea of organizing a holiday gift exchange among expats. The guidelines were simple. She’d collect the details of expats who wanted to participate and then exchange that information in a Secret Santa way. My gift arrived a couple of days ago and I was so pleasantly surprised.

My gift comes all the way from Morocco courtesy of the lovely Amanda Mouttaki, the blogger behind MarocMama, which is a terrific blog I discovered as a result of this exchange. Amanda sent me a gorgeous Moroccan pouffe similar to the ones shown in the photo above. I don’t know if Amanda did some homework or made an excellent guess by going with turquoise, but she nailed it. That’s the main color of my spare bedroom/office/creative studio so it’s a perfect choice. Amanda also sent me a pretty white and blue clutch, another excellent choice as I adore cute, little bags and have a number of them.

Thank you Amanda for this little bit of Morocco and thanks to Diane for going forth with this awesome idea.

So happy to see this post. Thank you so much for participating, Cosette! Amanda did a great job. I think the first annual Oui In France Expat Exchange was a huge success. Hoping everyone else’s packages arrive soon. Merry Christmas to you!
