Expat Holiday Exchange #expatexchange14

Expat blogger Diane from Oui in France had the wonderful idea of organizing a holiday gift exchange among expats. The guidelines were simple. She’d collect the details of expats who wanted to participate and then exchange that information in a Secret Santa way. My gift arrived a couple of days ago and I was so pleasantly surprised.

My gift comes all the way from Morocco courtesy of the lovely Amanda Mouttaki, the blogger behind MarocMama, which is a terrific blog I discovered as a result of this exchange. Amanda sent me a gorgeous Moroccan pouffe similar to the ones shown in the photo above. I don’t know if Amanda did some homework or made an excellent guess by going with turquoise, but she nailed it. That’s the main color of my spare bedroom/office/creative studio so it’s a perfect choice. Amanda also sent me a pretty white and blue clutch, another excellent choice as I adore cute, little bags and have a number of them.

Thank you Amanda for this little bit of Morocco and thanks to Diane for going forth with this awesome idea.
