A Toast to the Expat Blog Challenge Bloggers

Today is the final day of the Expat Blog Challenge. The prompt is, “A toast to…”.

A toast to Cristin, the blogger at In an Opal Hearted Country, who came up with the idea, who organized it, and who supported all of us participating.

It’s been a challenge indeed. I missed a few entries either because the prompt didn’t inspire me or because I didn’t prioritize blogging over other things that came up. For the latter, I went back and wrote those entries. I will publish them over the next few days even though the challenge is official over.Β It’s been a worthwhile exercise and the best part was discovering a host of other expat bloggers. A few expats I used to follow have stopped writing and I was missing those voices and shared experiences so it’s nice to find new ones. I’ve added some to my Links.

Thank you very much, Cristin, and all the bloggers that participated in the Expat Blog Challenge. I hope you’ve all enjoyed it as much as I have. I wish you all the best in your adopted countries and great success in your blogging. I look forward to reading more.

  1. It’s very appropriate that your photo contains champagne glasses. I have drunk far more sparkling wine in Melbourne in the last four years than in the rest of my life altogether.

  2. Thank you, Cosette! I’ve loved reading all your posts. So glad you came along for the ride.

  3. I’ll be continuing to follow you & staying tune for the expat blog challenges you are yet to post. πŸ™‚

  4. Loved this idea and only did one prompt after hearing about it late. Will have to catch up on my own. πŸ˜‰ Was the FB group active? My request was never accepted

    • Hi Diane. The Facebook group is just the right amount of active. I’ll check in with C about that request to join.
