Sunday Gratitudes
A few things that are making me happy this week and that I’m grateful for:
True Blood
Although not as brilliant as his first series Six Feet Under, Alan Ball keeps me entertained with this crazy Southern vampire show. I’m glad the season is back.
Father’s Day
I’m so grateful that I can celebrate this Father’s Day with my dad.
Crowdsourcing
One thing that I love about the internet is being able to ask the world a question and get answers almost immediately. On a small scale, I can ask my friends and readers questions such as “How do you know if you’re a real Australian?“ On a larger scale, I can ask for a recommendation to a good restaurant and or a solution to a tech problem.
The Beach
I went to the beach this week for the first time since last summer and it was wonderful.
Travel Planning
I made a little progress in gearing up to get back to Australia. More than that, I’m making plans for a week away with my family, a final vacation together before I head off. It’s nothing fancy, just a week in Orlando and a couple of days with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, but it will be relaxing and fun.
