Birds of Australia
Australia has about 800 species of bird. Here are a few of them. This entry is dedicated to my friend Lori who loves birds and is vicariously birdwatching from the States. I am not a birder, but I’ve tried my best to accurately identify these. Please click the thumbnails to see larger images.
One of the biggest bird surprises is how common parrots are. They are just everywhere particularly the loud cockatoos.
